Change windows explorer file details from ms access 2k and up

1 New Member
Hello,

I neet to change the file detailes (Not Attributes) that are displayed in windows exployer, from ms access. Can it be done? FSO dose not display TITLE or DESCRIPTION in VBA code.

Need to edit or change both Folder "Title or Description" and also, File "Title or Description".

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Anthony,

You'll need a lot more than this for your question to make enough sense to work with. If you have existing code then that may be required. You certainly need more detail of what it is you're trying to do and want help with.

To the best of my knowledge, the Details to be displayed within Windows Explorer cannot be controlled from Access. The only Methods I know to accomplish this are:
  • View ==> Choose details...
    Right Click Detail Bar ==> Select detail(s)
