How to open a database by clicking in directory

56 New Member
I have problem opening my database by clicking on the directory address where the database is located. I can open the database if I open access application and then browse for the location of the database, then the database will open, but not from the directory address line.
any idea?

thanks!

I've had this pop up in thf past (I think when I was still running Access 2000) and it was resolved by rebooting the PC. Not sure exactly what caused the problem.
