Creating a Table in MS Access Reports

Is it possible to create a table within MS Access Reports so that horizontal data stays aligned?

For example, I have two columns of data. The left column is fixed, the right column will be dynamically generated based on data in the table, usually larger text segments.

I need some way to maintain the horizontal alignment of text on the left side with that on the right. Basically, a simple word like table.

- Text

Y Text
- Text

Z Text
- Text
- Text
- Text

Not sure what you mean here. Despite what you say in your post your example data is not shown in a table-like layout at all, much less a Word table layout. Word tables are row-oriented; the inscrutable sample data you have posted is not.

For us to get a better grasp of all this it really is better to post data more representative of the real thing than X this and Y that - meaningless in the circumstances I'm sorry to say.

Access reports are not like Word documents - there is no table construct you can use, although it can to some extent be simulated using textboxes with their Can Grow properties set to Yes. In the detail section of your report if you include textboxes side by side and set Can Grow to Yes for the one containing the variable-length the rows will remain horizontally aligned.
