selection in a combo box to update text boxes?

Hi I've been searching all day on how to do this and I don't know how!

I have tblEvents that store details of events that are created and contain info such as location, price and event name

I have created a form with this info along with two other text boxes.

What I want to be able to do is select an Event using the combo box and then for the two other text boxes (event price, event name) to update automatically according to the event I choose in the combo box.

Someone please help!!!! I'm ready to throw my computer out of the window

If you're trying to retrieve the record for the given event:

Place textboxes on the form to hold all three fields.

Add a combo box to your form. The Combobox Wizard will pop up

Select "Find a record based on the value I selected in my combobox."

From tblEvents, click on the field you're searching by (the EventName field?) to move it to the right side.

Hit Next.

Size the column appropriately.

Hit Next.

Name the combobox.

Hit Finish.

Now you can drop the combobox down and scroll down to the item to search by, or you can start to enter the item, and the combobox will "autofill" as you type. Hit <Enter> and the record will be retrieved.

Is this what you're after? I wasn't sure you weren't after displaying multiple columns from the ComboBox in separate TextBoxes. If so, then you need need to set the TextBoxes to the relevant .Column(?) of the ComboBox in the AfterUpdate event procedure.
