list box not displaying items

2 New Member
I just installed Office SP3 last night and today a 2 column listbox with a varying rowsource is not displaying column(1). the rowsourcetype is table/query and the rowsource is set by a click_event attached to a different listbox.

the itemdata is in the list, since a textbox with a controlsource of =listboxname.column(1) displays the correct item data.

anyone else have this prob? solved it?

I've already given you the probable answer to this on another forum, but I'll post the answer here as well, since someone else may come here searching for the answer!

This is one of a multitude of problems caused by SP3! The combo/list box goes blank if it's RowSource is a table field that has something in its Format property. This can be something as simple as ">" being used to force uppercase. The short answer, until Micro$oft managesto get eberyjting fixed and issues a patch, is to go into the underlying field(s) and remove all formatting. The more complicated answer is to uninstall Access, then re-install it up to SP2.
