subforms and list boxes

Hi all

I hope this will be an easy one....

I have a subform that hides and appears as and when its needed with forms etc etc etc but when it runs over a listbox, it's hiden behind it unless I run the mouse over everything in a certain way.

I have tried bringing the item to the front but it does not work... any ideas?

Are you saying it's overlapping a listbox?
Why don't you move it out of the way so it doesn't overlap anything?

ah-ha - i have the subform appear in the middle of the screen, and with different screen res it appears all over the screen.

Wait, what do you mean by subform? A subform as used in Access is a form within a form.

yes the form loads within the form using the subform control

I'm a little confused by what I'm seeing. It doesn't look like a subform. But a form that's being covered up by the form below it, which doesn't make sense.

Or is it a subform on the main form that's designed to look like a seperate form?

Why not use a modal form then? While a modal form is open you can't click on objects outside the form.
