Force use of Access 2000 runtime on computer with Access 2007

I have an Access 2000 mde. It runs OK on computers with Access 2007 except
that it won't transfer data to an Excel worksheet using TransferSpreadSheet.

Can I install the A2000 runtime on a machine that has Access 2007 on it and
force my mde to open using the A2000 runtime instead of Access 2007?

We have found that the transferspreadsheet option has problems when
you use a query in Access 2007. (although perhaps we didn't select
the correct Excel format). Recommend copying the data to a temp
table, then exporting it.
