Security Problems

10 New Member
Hi

I have an Access database that is currently being used by 10 users. The database has restricted access and is on a separate server. Read/write permissions have been allocated in exactly the same way to all users. However, 4 out of the 10 users have read only access.

They are able to open the database and make edits but on closing, it says read only and creates a new database.

Any ideas on what could be causing this problem?

PS... database is not opened at the same time by any 2 users.

You have (accidentally) posted this question in the Access Articles section. This is NOT an article.
I'm moving this to the main Access questions forum.

Who are the appropriate people to report security problems to in respect of a module included with the Python distribution? I don't feel it appropriate to be reporting it on general mailing lists.
