How to Change Page Print Size From Legal to A4???

15 New Member
Does anybody know how or if at all possible to change the print size of a document from Legal to A4???

Currently i am adopting a rather laborious method by going back into the PC and changing the printer settings back and forth...

Unless i reformat the ENTIRE document, is there an easier method one can adopt through programming codes>>??
The reports are from MS Access???

Thanks in advance..

You would modify the PaperSize Member of the PrtDevMode property for the specific Report. The PrtDevMode property setting is a 94-byte structure that mirrors the DEVMODE structure defined in Windows. It is a rather daunting task to say the least. Reference the PrtDevMode Property for complete information. Available Paper Sizes are:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Value   Paper size
  2. 1       Letter (8.5 x 11 in.)
  3. 2       Letter Small (8.5 x 11 in.)
  4. 3       Tabloid (11 x 17 in.)
  5. 4       Ledger (17 x 11 in.)
  6. 5       Legal (8.5 x 14 in.)
  7. 6       Statement (5.5 x 8.5 in.)
  8. 7       Executive (7.25 x 10.5 in.)
  9. 8       A3 (297 x 420 mm)
  10. 9       A4 (210 x 297 mm)
  11. 10      A4 Small (210 x 297 mm)
  12. 11      A5 (148 x 210 mm)
  13. 12      B4 (250 x 354 mm)
  14. 13      B5 (182 x 257 mm)
  15. 14      Folio (8.5 x 13 in.)
  16. 15      Quarto (215 x 275 mm)
  17. 16      11 x 17 in.
  18. 18      Note (8.5 x 11 in.)

  42. 256     User-defined
To modify the PrtDevMode Property of your Report via a User Interface (highly recommended):
__1. Open Report in Design View
__2. File ==> Page Setup ==> Page Tab
__3. Select Use Specific Printer Option ==> Printer Button
__4. On the Printer's Page Setup Dialog Box ==> Properties
__5. Paper Tab ==> Paper Size
