Connecting to MS SQL Server

P: n/a
Hi all,

The scenario:-

I have a MS SQL database. I want to use Access as a front-end( to
generate reports for example) for the database to connect to the MS
SQL database.

The questions:

1) Where do I specify the location/connection for the MS SQL db?

and to make things a bit more complicated,
2) If the MS SQL db is on a remote desktop( to which I have access to)
how do i connect to it from Access?
