Pivot Chart

2 New Member
I have recently read that a more efficient way to display your Pivot Chart is by creating a report and embedding the Pivot Chart in a subform in the report. I am trying to create a basic form displaying records that are specific for a certain date. This is something I want to be able to do everyday and let people who have even less knowledge of access than me manage this procedure. How should I go about this?

The best way to do this is to have a form where the user can enter the date that the want to view the records for. Then add a command button to open the old form where the records date field are equal to the date of the form. The wizard for the command button should give you the option to do this.

Your question is a bit ambiguous as to whether it is a Report or a Form that you intend to use it on. Reports can have SubReports but not SubForms. I'm sure the answer you got was working on the basis of Forms so if it's actually a report that you're after then you need to bear this in mind.
