Look up

I'm trying to look up an employee ID in a form so it shows on a report.

=Forms!AddAnOrderAndDetails!EmployeeID

I have tried this in a text box in the report without any look:
=Forms!AddAnOrderAndDetails!EmployeeID

That should work if:
a) The was open before the report, and remains open (not in design view, not
as a subform.)

b) The form is named AddAnOrderAndDetails.

c) There is a control named EmployeeID.

d) There is a record in the form (even the new record, but not completely
blank.)
