Archiving and Subforms

I have set up a form "Placement Details" with fields name, address etc,
placement details,
weekly cost, monthly cost, projected on year cost, full year cost.

I have set up two tables, PlacementDetails and Placementdetails
archive. I then created forms for
these, one normally, the other as a Archive subform. Once the patient
has been moved from a
placement, I want the relevant information to go down into the
datasheet subform, saved there for
future info that the user would use in reports etc. If the patient
then gets moved again, the
information should then get moved down again. This could go on for
several occassions.

I can get it to do one, but not several.... I have tried alsorts at
this time to no avail.

Please could any one help.

Why not include an Active flag in the Placement Details table (Yes/No)
and then just set the to False when you want the record archived? then
if you want to see all the data, just omit the filter on that field?
