a complex calculation

I need to calculate a score and I'm having a problem getting the logic
of how to do it.

In each record there is a column with a score of 1-10.

The percentage of 9 & 10s minus percentage of those that are 6 and
below is the score I'm looking for.

Obviously the first step is to count the 9s and 10s, get a percentage
of the total, then count the 6s and below and get the percentage of the
total there.

How do I count 9s & 10s in a table like this

Date, Location, Score

and get a field with the counts to use in the calcuation?

I need to add that I need a score for each location and a score for
each industry. Likely I'll need separate reports for by location and by
Industry, or at least a subreport?

The information is Date (formatted as month), Location, Industry, Score
