Copy and Email database?

Jon
Hi,

There are a number of examples of code, not written by me, that makes copies
of the database I have opened, and others that copy the backend file, I'm
not sure, yet, which is the bext.

I'd like a button that will copy the database backend, compress it into a
zip file and attach to an email with the To and Subject fields filled in!

You know how it is, a client is having problems and you say "can you just
zip up and email the data/be file" and the silence is followed by the "where
is that?"

Has anyone done this before? Really I need it for the data file on a
server, that server might not have a compression program so I was thinking
of using the freeware zip program at http://www.freebyte.com/fbzip/ as it
supports commend line zipping and doesn't need installing.

So before I start this myself - any thoughts?

Thanks

Jon
