Summary query causes Access to crash

Hi All,

I have a query that summarizes some data from a table as an average,
max and standard deviation. This query works fine. It returns a value
not a null.

When I use a select query to return only the the standard deviation,
Access crashes. Select queries returning only the average and max work
fine. This applies to Access 2002 and 2003 on two different machines.

I've applied SP2 to my Access 2003 machine as the error reporting
website suggested. No improvement.

I've varied the data table to see if somehow the data are a problem.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
