How do you adjust a form to open from the top?

How do I make a form open from the top and not from the bottom. I have
to scroll up to the top of the form every time I open the form. How do
I program it to open initially from the top?

Do you mean that your form goes to the last record of the recordset when it
opens? Does any code run when it opens?

If your form is longer than the screen and is starting at the bottom, then
maybe you are setting the focus to a control that is near the bottom. Try
adding

Me.YourControlName.Set Focus

to the OnLoad or OnCurrent event of your form. Select the control that is
topmost on your form.

Or you might want to break the form into pages and set focus on the
first page when it loads

Hi, I'm trying to get the Left/Top/Height/Width properties for some text boxes on a form to match exactly. Three of them are fine, but the fourth will not accept the changes I type into the properties - it automatically rounds them by an almost negligible amount (e.g. 0.446 become .0.448). These objects are all on different pages of a...

A while back I got a requirement for the client to be able to adjust the relative heights of two subforms by click-dragging the mouse and I came up with a kludge solution using a border control between the two subforms. But I put my mind to this again recently and came up with a solution (code below) that works well with multiple subforms to...

If possible, how can the user be prevented from adjusting the column width and/or the row height in datasheet view (in VB code if necessary)? (I still want them to be able edit the contents of the field though). I've got a subform set up the way I like in datasheet view and I don't want to allow the user to adjust either parameter. Along...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. For...
