backend corrupt

I have an Access database. There are about 6 frontends connecting to
the backend. The frontends are developed in 2000 but run on Access
2002. The backend is an Access 2000 backend. Once a week I get a
problem where one user tries to log in while other users are connected
and they get a "Database is corrupt" message although the others are
able to use the database ok. I have to tell everyone to disconnect and
I repair it before they can go back in. Every time this happens there
are one or 2 records that are corrupted after the repair. I've
developed other Access databases and never got this problem. Any ideas
of why it is corrupting?

We also have this issue sometimes, but using an Access97 backend with
about 10 Access2000 frontends. We have not found a solution. It will
also leave a username apparently logged in the Security.LDB file.

I've found that it happens when there was a crash or when someone
didn't log out properly. The db i'm having the problem on has a bigger
network and up to 10 users. Because of this i think the best solution
is to convert to mySQL (probably) or MSDE.
