Hi,
Is there anyway I could detect on a form when the "add new record
button" has been pressed?

When you move to a new record, the form's Current event will fire, and the
form's NewRecord property will be True.

You can use...

If Me.NewRecord = True Then...

In the Form's Current event to determine when the form has been positioned at
the new record position. This won't tell you if that was accomplished by
pressing the "Go To New Record" button in the navigation bar though.
