Hi

I have create replication between a laptop and the server. Now I need to
create replication for another laptop. Do I create another replica for the
second laptop or copy the one from the first laptop?

Thanks

Why did you post this independently in CDMA and in
microsoft.public.access.replication? I answered in the latter group,
but if you'd crossposted, my answer would have appeared in both
groups, for a wider audience.

Here's what I said:

Except for empty replicas (at the beginning of the life of a replica
set, before data has been entered), you NEVER copy replicas. Ever.

Open up the server replica on the 2nd laptop and create the replica
from there.
