Assuming you mean you've created an Application with Access (i.e. Forms,
Reports, Tables etc) then no, you cannot create an .exe file. Access doesn't
really have this capability. Your end users must have either the full retail
version of Access (whatever version you used to create the app) or you must
distribute to them the Runtime version of Access (which is basically Access
with the design capabilities removed). The Runtime is available with the
Developer's Edition of Access (or, if you've got 2003, the 'Access
Developer's Extensions' for Visual Studio).
If you mean you created an Access database (tables only) and plan to
distribute it with an other frontend (like one created in Visual Basic) then
the answer is: You can legally distribute your db and the necessary files
(like DAO, MSJet, etc) IF the development evnvironment you used to create
the frontend allows you to do so (like Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc). You
would need to check your dev environment documentation for this.

I have created a database in MS Access and wish to distribute it as an
.exe package. Can this be done and what do I need to do it?
Thanks for any help.
