Calendar Control not on Top...

This is probably simple but ....
How do I get the Calendar control to appear on top of all other
controls?

I have a form that has a number of form objects. I pop a calendar
control up and it is on top of all controls (buttons, text) but two
listboxes cover portions of it.

Any ideas?

use the popup calendar form from Access Developers Handbook is one
option. OCX controls are a nightmare when you have to distribute your
app anyway...

Thanks. I'll put off buying a book to get around this for now.

My solution for any readers of this thread - when the calendar pops up
I hide the listboxes. User can't use them anyway until they use the
calendar. Actually doesn't look too bad.

I'm guessing I have something set wrong and I'll eventually figure it
out. But for now, it works.

I agree about the OCX control nightmare - and for that reason I'll keep
the Calendar Form option as a background choice. And for others who
don't want to buy a book - go here:

There are quite a number of examples of Calendar "Controls" done with
Access' built-in Forms and Controls, in addition to the one in the
Developer's Handbook. A little searching of this newsgroup at
http://groups.google.com should find some. As was said, if you can avoid
having to distribute an ActiveX Control with your app, you'll save yourself
some time/effort/grief.

that looks very much like the calendar from the book... so just use
that. In ADH, he used a function to open the form and grab the value
and then stuffed it back into the calling control, IIRC... (doesn't
senility suck?)

Thanks all - Turns out that book you're referring to looks pretty good.
Guess I will probably buy it after all.

Excellent book. Every time I opened it I saved lots of time.

Hehe, if there was a book that told me how to save time I'd buy it, but
I wouldn't have time to read it :-)
