OLE File Associations

I have a file I'm trying to drop in an OLE field so I can use it like
an attachment with a record. Problem is when I double click on it in
Access it does not recognize what application to start up. If I double
click it from Windows it works fine its only inside of Access. The
only thing I can see that is out of the ordinary is the file has a 4
character extension instead of 3. The can't find dialog comes up
saying it can't find: "FileName.EDR" when the actual file name is
"FileName.EDRW" Is there anyway around this.

Thanks, Jack
