Labels on a Report

I have a report that has been running without incident for 2 years.
Today all the labels on the report no longer print.
All are Visible in their individual property pages.
Labels on all other reports in the system are unaffected.
Adding a new label to the affected report works perfectly, in design
view but does not appear in the print preview and does not print.
Anyone have any idea what could have happened.
Building a new report accepts the labels as per normal, so I can
delete the report and re-write it but that doesn't solve the mystery.

Check the "Visible" property, this may have been changed and also if an
invisible label was selected and "Set Control Defaults" selected off
trhe format menu then it would affect new labels too.

Thanks Trevor. I had checked and found that all labels are set to
"Visible". The "Set Control Defaults" is greyed.

I did a workaround by importing a copy of the report from a backup
file prior to the problem. Although the problem is resolved, it is
unsettling not to know the cause. Thanks again.
