Combo Box/SubForm Index

I am doing all of my coding with VBA.I have a Combo Box that is
populated with values from a field. When I click on any item in the
Combo Box it brings up a sub form. It works fine except for the fact
that no matter which item I select, it brings up the first item from
the field, not the item that I selected from the ComboBox. I've been
working with setting the bound column and the ControlSource, but that
isn't working.

What is the AfterUpdate code that you are using in the combo box?
And, what do you mean by "brings up" a sub form? open (pop-up) or
requery an embedded subform?
