Why does Access freeze when linked to Oracle table with Timestamp column?

Access freezes when we attempt to link to and then open an Oracle
table that has a Timestamp column. Does anyone know why?

This issue does not occur if you attempt to link to and open a table
that has Date fields.

Thanks, Marcus.

The Timestamp data type is a relatively new Oracle thing (9i or later I
believe). Maybe you need an updated Oracle ODBC driver.
