Import text file

HI,
I'm having trouble importing text files. I had problem with Access '97
that forced me to reinstall. After I did this I couldn't import text files.
The Help file recommends reinstall again, When I attempted this the import
text option was checked but grayed out. The reinstall didn't fix this problem.
Does anybody have a idea what is wrong.

You might try this:

Go into the operating system folder /System32 folder (usually in
Windows or WinNT folder) and find the file mstext??.dll and rename it
to mstext??_old.dll (the ?? indicates the version number - usually one
one in the folder). Then reinstall the Text drivers (now it should
not be disabled).
