Freeze Columns

Anyone mastered this in continuous forms view (as opposed to datasheet
view)?
Two subforms side by side with synchronised scrolling perhaps?

I've never found that simply scrolling up and down a subform triggered any
trappable events.

I did it once by resetting the control source property of each field to the
control source property of the field to the immediate left or immediate right
depending on which scroll button was clicked. I had created my own scroll
buttons and scroll bar.

That's an idea thanks, bit convoluted for me as in the form concerned
there'll be colours and formats to play with as well as differing
widths :-\

I'll take the idea on board none the less.

Bloody clients, they specify the fields and order they should appear
and the poor guy who has to fill it in has the two fields he's most
interested in at opposite ends of the form, e.g. the item description
and the bid price. I have thought of giving him his own subform to
fill in the prices, with just the item description and the price side
by side.

I modified my SetGetSB functions using the SelTop property to do this
for someone a few months ago. It works OK but requires a Form Timer
event which I never liked.
If you want a copy Email me.
