I have a field that retrieves information from an expression in a
query. I have used a DLookup function to get the calculated field
from the query. However, the relationship is 1-to-many so one site
could have many units. How do I have the DLookUp field value change
to a newly calcuated field when I navigate through the units? please
see example below:
On the Form:
A site can have many units.

Would like to add a new Field to Table which is 75 % (or another
Percentage) higher than the Value in another Field in same Table.Is
this possible with Expression or would I have to enter the Values
manuallyTried to build a Query like this (successful) and then link
the new Field to the Query but was only able to do this as a Combo BOx
and not text field.
This is for a Products Page where I want to base the Retail Price on
the Cost...

In my report I have a calculated DateDiff Field, I also have a
calculated count field. I'm trying to get a total of the DateDiff
field and dividing it by the count field and I'm having problems -- it
seems the calculated field is not storing the data for reuse, maybe --
does anyone have any suggestions?

The problem is (using MS Access 2003) I am unable to retrieve long
strings (255 chars) from calculated fields through a recordset.
The data takes the trip in three phases:
1. A custom public function returns a long string. This works.
2. A query has a calculated field based on the custom function above.
This works when the query is run directly.

I use Access 2007 and create queries with a number of calculated
fields/expressions (I'm still a novice so please forgive me if my
wording is imprecise...), like: MyCalculation = Field1 - Field2.
However, I noticed that I cannot query the database setting a
condition on this newly created field (eg <0); if I do, when I run the
query , Access shows me an input box asking for the value of

I have a query that includes calculated fields that generate numeric results.
I have wrapped conversion functions CLng() and CDdl() around the calculated
fields to ensure the data types are correct. The query results are correct
in MS Access 2007 but when I export to MS Excel 2007, some of the numeric
fields are converted to text. I cannot find an explanation. I am using a
Macro to export, and would prefer to avoid VBA for this...
