I got the same problem , when I am migrating DB2/UDB 5.2 to 7.2 EE
under AIX.

I'm no stranger to this error message, but I have a client who is
experiencing it, but, fortunately, without any actual data
corruption, and it's driving them made. Their inability to grasp
that the cause is fundamentally a networking problem is also making
me pull my hair out.
Some history:
The network is composed of five computers dating back to 1995, each

I am a complete idiot when it comes to access. Now that said, I work
for a computer security company and one of our customers came to us
with an access problem.
They had been running fine for a long time. Then about a month ago

A2k3 Win XP Pro.
I have a BE on a Win 2003 server which started giving the above error this
morning. Now I can't connect to it at all. This behaviour is limited to
one folder on the server, I can connect to all my other BEs OK. I'm
assuming that the whole folder has become corrupted - it won't even let me
copy files to another folder, the question is the likely cause. Has anyone

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
