Now this shouldn't be hard but I've been struggling on the best way as to
how to do this one for a day or 3 so I thought I'd ask the assembled
company.....
I'm writing an application that tracks a group of Sales people, the
customers they deal with and the business they transact with them.
I've got my head around all the tables & some of the basic Query structures
OK and am beginning to delve into creating the forms I need to be able...

When my form goes to a new record, I have a procedure that copies the last
record added to the form's underlying table into the form. The intent is that a
series of new records may have the same data in many of the fields so I paste in
the same values of the previous record and then edit what needs edited in the
new record saving much retyping of the same data. Doing this however creates the
definite possibility of creating a duplicate...

I have been having endless difficulty creating reports/queries that
set any relevent parameters from controls in forms.
I am creating an application under access 2003 but will target access
2000. The access file is in access 2000 format.
I have a form that will hold the relevent parameters for the
query/report that reports the statistics for all job records that
match a certain criteria. These are:
- A Customer Name.

I have 2 tables, one with dates and information about those dates, and
one with people information. I want to create a report listing each
date and the people who attended on that date (who have that date under
the date column in their table). Can I do it and how?
Also another problem I'm running into is what if the person is on more
than one date? How can I work that out in the tables?

I want to create a form that will allow the user to select from a list of
available reports and based on a filter limit the records displayed in the
report. I have figured out how to access the reports collection to populate
a list box containing the report names. The filter I currently have lists
some key fields that I think the user may want to filter on. A WHERE string
is constructed based on the feilds that the user inputs values into....

I wish to build a table based on values from another table.
I need to populate a table between two dates from another table. Using
the START_DT and END_DT, create records between those dates.
I need a new column that is the days between the date and the MID_DT
The data I wish to end with would look something like this:
PERIOD DATE DAY_NO
200602 2005-07-06 -89
200602 2005-07-07 -88
200602 2005-07-08 -87

I have a form where the users need to view records for various
criteria, one of which is a date field on which they may wish to view
all related data for the selected date, for all dates upto and icluding
the selected date or all records on or after the selected date
The user selects either "=", >=" or "<=" from a combo box and then a
date from another combobox. The combination of thse two choices is
then set in an unbound textbox so...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
