Hi
I am desparately looking for advice in relation to storing the results
after selecting items from two combo boxes on a Referral form. The
first combo box 'ctl Type' displays a full list of Agency Types, then
the 2nd combo box displays a list of Organisations, depending upon the
Agency Type Selected.
The first combo box 'ctlType' (Unbound), Row Source: to field
in 'AgencyReferralType'.

Greetings. I have a problem with a combo box incorrectly displaying
blank items when returning to a form from a modal form. It's fine when
the main form first comes up, but gets messed up when the main form is
reactivated following opening and closing a modal form. Strangely,
this was not a problem until I started using my Access 2000 db in
Access 2003 (as an Access 2000 db). Details follow...
I have an unbound combo box on my main form...

I would like to create a query where one of the columns of the queries
comes from a combo list box on a form.
For example, if my table has the following fields:
id
name
interest1
interest2
interest3
my combo box would be a dropdown containing these choices:

I'm using Access 2000.
I currently have a report being generated using the results of a query
by form. The form used for this query is an unbound form,
frmListDialog. frmListDialog contains two unbound text boxes,
txtExamTitle and txtExamNumber. The user enters either the exam title
in txtExamTitle or the exam number in txtExamNumber as a parameter for
the query. This is currently working fine, however because the exam
titles are...

Hi,
I have nearly finished my database and I would like to add a query
that uses a combo box to get the results, not the usual paramater
style input. I suppose it would need a form and a query and a combo
box, but where to start !!!!!!!!
Any kind soul out there that can give me an example of where to
start..........?

not work when the form is first displayed and when the selection
criteria is changed.

Hi,
I have a report displaying items that are missing from a room. I
created 2 queries, the first getting the items IN the room, and the
second being an "unmatched" query that references the first query
where Item is Null. I use a subreport for the details, and the
results display correctly.
However, the Report_Details event of the subreport is executed about 2
or 3 times more than I would expect (I think 3 times when I have a

Hi, two parts to my problem if someone can help address either one or
both:
1. I want to SELECT everything in the table if it matches the
criteria when the query button is pressed (this is just a
commandbutton on my form). The biggest problem I'm having is that I
can't (don't know how) populate a combobox on static items such as
"True, False, Any." The Any field, would be selected by the user to
find all records where that fields is...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
