I have a main Form Order Entry. In the customer field, I create a comboBox to query Customer Table records so I can select the name.
How do I reference back the customer name selected, extract the customer info from Customer Table and assign or display all the relevant fields on my main Form? Like contact, currency, delivery address and etc.
So these info will be save in the Order Table.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Regards,
chwong

You need to create a query that pulls those fields from the tables involved, and set that query as the form's recordsource. Once you do that, you will be able to bind the form controls to fields in the tables.
Forgot to add that the afterUpdate event of the combobox can be used to determine which record to display on the form. If you need more help, please post the sql that you have for the form's recordsource query and for the combobox's row source.

I need some help interogatting a table and extracting via ASP the final
field in a row which has a value. In other words, I have a maximum of 10
fields but, at the user level he may he only enter values into the first
four. I need to ALWAYS extract the final or last field that has a value. In
the example below this would be PriceField5 which has a value of $162,000.
The user stopped at this field and left the rest blank.

I have gotten to this point of registering to post because I have been
spinning my wheels so long, I believe I am all caught up in the weeds.

(wr_completion_subform). This subform is bound to a table
(wr_completion_table).
On the subform, I have a button from which I have added code to email

I have a form, primary subform and secondary subform. A tab control takes up all
the area of the primary subform. There are about 15 tabs on the tabcontrol. Each
tab contains fields from the same table. Related fields appear on each tab.
There is one field in the table that needs to be displayed at all times so I
created the secondary subform (subform to main form) to display just that one
field. Data entry is main form - secondary subform...

Hi everybody-
I inherited a database that somehow uses a bound combo box as a record
selector. Let me give you some background. The form is based on data
from 2 tables. The first table, Person, records info about a person.
The second table, Case, records information about a person's case,
almost like a human resources database.
The primary key of the table, person, is his/ her social security
number. The primary key of the other...

subfrm_media_review_sec_party.Form!last_name
It works except that when I flip through the names it populates the

In my form I have a master table and a details table linked 1xM. I can

Thanks in advance,

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
