Hi everybody-
I inherited a database that somehow uses a bound combo box as a record
selector. Let me give you some background. The form is based on data
from 2 tables. The first table, Person, records info about a person.
The second table, Case, records information about a person's case,
almost like a human resources database.
The primary key of the table, person, is his/ her social security
number. The primary key of the other...

Hello,
I need some advice on which way to resolve the following. On a form, the
user will make a selection from a combo box, after the selection several
different fields need to be updated on the form, based on the selection in
the combo box.
I have been doing this quite successfully by having the combo box rowsource
query contain all the fields and simply use the correct column to fill in
the text boxes. e.g. me.txtState =...

Hi there,
I am working on a form that uses 3 text boxes and 3 combo boxes.
When any data is entered into any of these, I click a command button
and this requeries a sub query in the form and displays data dependent
on what has been typed in.
After having trouble with populating my second combo box (I eventually
populated it by putting the fields for both combo boxes in 1 separate
query) I am now having problems with the 3rd one and am...

Hello Friends:
I am trying to populate a subform that has three fields that would pull view only data from a child table. The criteria for this data is to select the three fields where one of them is the value of column 1 of a combo box on the main form. This field is also the master child link between the two tables.
The combo field is SSN. So when I populate SSN in the main form, I would like the SSN to be used as a select statement like...

I have created a task tracking database. On the main form, I have placed two combo boxes. The first (cboContact) lists the user that the task is assigned to.

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
