Fields from two Tables on Report.

101 New Member
Hi,
My project is in MS Access 2002.
In that I have one Form which enter data in two different Tables, when I click on Submit Button it will run two diffrent queries one by one.
Now I want to generate Report from that Tables.
But I don't know how can I put Fields from two different Tables in Report's Detail Section.
If Feilds are from only one Table than I can set Report's Record Source property to that TableName.\
But I don't know how to set it for two tables?

Even I put fields in Report and set there Control Source Property to that [TableName].[FieldName]. But when I open report It will ask for the value of that TableName

like some of my Field's Control Source Properties are
=QCDatasheetFor BottlesCTC!BODe t
=QCDatasheetFor BottlesCTC!Targ etBO
=QCDatasheetFor BottlesCTC!CapT orqueChartTime

but when I open Report it will ask for value of QCDatasheetForB ottlesCTC.
I don't know what to enter in it.I tried the TableName but nothing happen.Report only shows values from Table which is set as Report's Record Source Property.
And whatever remain Fields from another Table in that it shows #ERROR.
Plz tell me how to do this thing?
Thanks.

You can use subreports for the two queries.

Hello, I am trying to build a Crystal report VisualStudio.NET for an ASP.NET application. I would like to build a report that doesn't connect to any particular database at design time because I am planning to pass a dataset to the report at runtime. From what I have read, it sounds like unbound fields might be the answer. However, I am having trouble figuring out how to bind these unbound fields to my dataset at runtime.

I asked this question, earlier, and received an answer that I am not sure about how to do. Basically, I am printing mailing labels with a "Sorting/Grouping" section that groups the label types together. Also, I am using a "Report Header" to show a count of how many total labels that are being printed. Now, my problem is that without the "Report Header", the spacing is perfect. But, when I add the Report Header, it gets shifted...

I have a database with four table. In one of the tables, I use about five lookup fields to get populate their dropdown list. I have read that lookup fields are really bad and may cause problems that are hard to find. The main problem I am having right now is that I have a report that is sorted by one of these lookup fields and it only displays the record's ID number. When I add the source table to the query it makes several records...

I have two tables Invoices and Payments. I want to design a statement report with data from both tables sorted by date. Column headings are: DATE INVOICE NUMBER DETAIL (supply or payment) AMOUNT (either invoice amount or payment amount.). I need to get all the payment records and all the invoice records for a particular month and display each one sorted by date. So the date field and the amount fields will have data from both...

I am at best a part time developer of Access databases. I use Access 2.0, as this is all my employer has on its computers. Even so, to use this ancient version requires a fairly convoluted installation procedure on each PC on which it is used. I am self-taught from the help files that come with Access 2.0 and from painful experience. I've never attended any type of training course on how to develop databases in Access. I have no idea...

Please help me...a newbie here.... I having been working two days on a project, thought I was almost done until I tried to create a report using a query I had succesfully made. I get an error about too many fields. I initially created one huge table but ran into problems after hitting 255 fields. I did some reading, created 10 tables instead and created relationships between the tables. I was then able to use these 10 tables and...

Alrighty Guys and Gals, I have another question that I hope you all can help me with. I have a report that uses a cross-tab query as its record source. This cross-tab query is getting all of its information from another query. That query, qryRpt, is pulling information from several different tables. One of these table is tblDistributions, a table that holds monthly distributions for a particular investment, and the second is tblDeduction, a...

Tomorrow's my final presentation of my DB and I ran into an unexpected problem: I access a main form called frmViewAllResources with several tabbed subforms through my switchboard. There's a preview and print button on the main form that generates a report called "Commodities." It previews and prints all the relevant fields from the main form and subform just fine. On my switchboard, I can also access a form to print reports using a date...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
