I have an Access 2000 database in which I display many pictures on
reports, the pictures are not embedded, the database just stores the
path to where the pictures are stored. When I select Gifs, Tifs, BMP etc
the pictures appear on the forms and reports. However when I select .JPG
format they don’t appear, no error message simply a white square where
the picture should be. I have used this database for several years on a
different PC without a problem but when I switched to a new PC the
problem started.
I thought it might be an Access Reference problem but all references and
present and correct.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sounds as there no graphic filter installed, so maybe this a solution for

I have been trying unsuccessfully to insert (link) small (3K) JPG files into
an Access 2000 table as OLE objects. The error message indicates that the

pro. are set as read only and its giving me some problem

ive managed to piece together this code that creates a backup folder and then copies the (Access 2000) database into it under the new name "Backup YYYY-MMM-DD HH.MM".
It worked fine in the database I created to practise and create the code, but when i copy and paste it to the main database none of it works, and i have no idea why.

I've had to reinstall XP (groan) and all my applications incl Access 97,
Office 2000 and Access 2003. In doing so I believe I have installed all
