I'm trying to use a command button to print a Word document that is in a
Hyperlink field. I keep getting Run-Time Error 5273 and it says the
document name or path is not valid. The Hyperlink opens fine if I open it
manually but not with this code. Any ideas? I'm Access 2002 with WinXP and
all the latest updates. I do have Word Objects 10.0 selected under Tools
Reference.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi All,
Sorry but I have to create new message since it cannot find the old

I have a continous form with a hyperlink field on it. Normally when
you click on a hyperlink field Access will follow the Hyperlinkbase
set in the database.
This is for example in my case "I:\". However I have two different

I'm using the DataGrid with AutoGenerateColumns set to false and choosing
which columns I want in the grid by using the <Columns> attribute. What I
want to do is to create a hyperlink out of one of the columns that I am
displaying, but in order to build this link, I need a value that is in my
SELECT clause, but is not being displayed via a BoundColumn.
Say I have a query: SELECT ID, Name FROM Companies
Here, ID is the PK. I am only...

I have an Access database of documents, with hyperlinks to PDFs. Sometimes I need to reference a document for which I don't yet have a PDF, so I type the name of the document into the hyperlink field in parentheses. This works great when I export to an Excel file, because the name I've given the missing document shows up and it is obvious that it is not an active link because of the parentheses.
But now I need to export to RTF, and instead of...

The Adobe application software appears to be display for a second and
then closes.
How to I get the PDF...

I'm a newbie to web design, and have been piecing togther a site for a friend over the last few weeks basically by Googling everything I don't understand and trying to fit it all together. It's been an uplifting experince and have picked up some knowledge of MySQL, PHP, XML and AJAX along the way.
I nearly have all of the functionality I need to move forward but there is one thing really annoying me because I can't fix it, and I have...

I'm trying to create a form where a user enters a document reference number and then clicks a command button to add a hyperlink to the document, via a file picker.
Thanks to Adezii's excellent article http://bytes.com/topic/access/answers/725778-inserting-hyperlink-into-table I can manage to create a hyperlink to the document and store it in the table, but it is the full hyperlink path not the reference number of the document that is...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
