I sure hope someone else has seen this, because I'm about to go crazy!
I am unable to open Property Sheets anywhere in any of my
databases...eve n a brand new one. Right-click Properties brings up
nothing. Clicking the Property Sheets button in Tools brings up
nothing. The button appears to depress upon mouse-click, but doesn't
stay pressed (so I don't believe it even has focus). Now, here's the
twist....the very same database(s) on a different box allows me to
open the Property Sheets.
I've tried the solution for the off screen property sheet - Alt
+Spacebar then M, then use arrow keys to move the Property Sheet back
into view, but since I believe it isn't even opening, this option
doesn't help.
If anyone has ANY suggestions, I'm open to trying anything at this
point. Access 2007 is miserable to use without Property Sheets.
Thank you!! 1 5008
I found the fix after many many hours of poking around. I hope this
helps someone else with the same issue.
First, log on as a new Windows user to the computer to see if you have
the
same problem. If you can open Property Sheets as the new user, export
the
following registy key in regedit:
HKEY_CURRENT_US ER\Software\Mic rosoft\Office\1 2.0\Access\Sett ings
\CommandBar*s
Then, log on as the original user, and double click the exported REG
file to
import it.

Hi,
I have several excel sheets in Office 2007, which has all kinds of standard calculations, and a consolidated Excel Sheet with totals and rollup of all the other excel files. The issue I am facing is that in order to get the updated totals in the Rollup File, I have to open all the primary excel files one by one, click on update, save and then close them. Once this is done, the rollup file shows the calculations correctly. Is there a VB...

Just found out that the Microsoft Rich Textbox does not support full text
justification, since it's based on Version 1.0 of the RichEdit Window Class,
and full text justification is only available in versions 3.0 or later of
the class.
However, also just found out that the new Rich Text property in Access 2007
ALSO does not support full text justification! This seems incredible, that
MS would create a brand new application, and not...

Hello,
I am currently doing a report in Reporting Services. I can pull the data up fine and have it layed out close to what the user is wanting with one exception. One of the fields I am having to pull about 18 different types of that field. For each one it brings up is a separate record. Which is fine because I just change the layout in Reporting Services and put the 18 items below the 1 main item. However the client would like all of the...

Table name: Datatable (data)
Field1: Customer (Bob, Dan, Joe)
Field2: Model (Ace, Cat, San)
Field3: YrMo (2007-01, 2007-02, 2007-03)

Hi,
Last week one client had errors caused by another program which led
the IT guys to wipe out and rebuild the hard drive on one particular
computer. Prior to this happening, the people in this department were
using a 2000 format database through Access 2007 without any issues.
Since IT rebuilt said hard drive, one user now gets a message when
attempting to open the same database that 2007 cannot open older
format databases. The...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
