Greetings,
I would like to know whether there is a way to estimate/calculate
the view table size in DB2. As what I understand, view is just a
logical table and we cannot simply calculate the size based on the
physical table(s) that made up the view. Any ideas?

Precise determinations are not the objective.
I would lke a single button click approach to
creating a report/table/dynaset - whatever -
to display each table name and an approx-
imation of the number of bytes of storage
spaced occupied by the data in each table.
I don't remember seeing any discussion on
this topic over the years since Access 2.0
and up through the more recent releases.

We are on DB2 UDB 8.2.2 on AIX. I know this question has been asked
many times on the ng but I am just not finding a real good answer. I
need to be able to not only determine existing table data size and
index size but also estimate for the future. I keep seeing info
regarding using reorgchk and the such however my dba will not allow us
developers to have access to the comands necessary such as runstats.
How can a lowely developer such...

Dear All,
I have little experience in coding. For a c++ code with 30,000 lines,
It is large or small? For two average programmers, usually how long
does it take to finish the code? The code should have no algorithm
difficulties. But It indeed need some design because we hope to
maintian and extend it in the future.
Any suggestion and comments are welcome !

I am now doing development using DB2.
Q1.
There is one tablespace to store 5 tables.
But, when in production, there will be one tablespace for EACH of the
tables.

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
