force user to signon to ODBC source

I'm developing an MS Access application that creates and executes
stored procedures on a Teradata system using SQL Pass Through queries.
I want the users to have to perform those functions using their own
Teradata UID and password. I've tried omitting Password and UID from
the connect string, but I get a response that there isn't enough
information to sign on. It seems as tho the messages I've found here
are asking how to AVOID asking the user to enter pw and ID. How do I
REQUIRE them to enter that information?

TIA,
Nolan

If you are using ADO, try something like this:

Set con = New ADODB.Connectio n
con.Properties( "Prompt") = adPromptComplet e
con.Open strConnect

I am converting an application from A97 to A2003. I have 2 tables created by another application as a Foxpro.dbf. The table has no index. The connect string in A97 is FoxPro 2.0;HDR=NO;IMEX=2;DATABASE=C:\Test It's really easy to connect to those tables in A97. I'm having difficulties in A2003. I'm trying to follow the instructions in...
