1 New Member
Hi! Currently we need to give user the mde file to run the report. But as mde just can hide form, marco, modules only. Does there have anyway hide the table and query for the user to view the design?

Btw our query also got append, update, delete query. Got try to give the user right. But user still able to see/view the design of the query and table.

Please help. Thanks

Your question is a little unclear ;-)
But you might find what you're looking for if, after opening a db, you explore the Security section under the Tools menu.
Good luck.

If the question you're asking is how to hide the tables and queries from the user?

Go to Tools - Startup menu and unclick the 'Display Database Window' before creating the mde.

But I have been pulling data from a Lotus Notes database into Sql Server for a while now, but Lotus Notes is starting to crack, columns getting corrupted. Can't handle the volume of data and number of columns. Sql Server has no problem. But displaying the...
