Want to use the selected items from list box in a Attached query of a report

2 New Member
I have a form that has a list box(multiple values selected) and multiple report names(when clicked on the button, it will run the report) on the form. I have selected multiple items from the list box. Now I want to use the listbox selected items, in the reports query. All the reports have a query attached to it. So I want to use the selected items from the list box in the query, in the In clause of the query. Please help.

Hi,

It seems that it's possible only using VB statements... For your query and for retrieving the selected items...

Or the other way maybe using VB code for retrieving your selected data in the list and save it in a temporary table which is used in your query!

Which manner is more convenient for U? And in the 2 cases it's long to describe!

However IF U want to continue pls tell me the name of your form and the list name in the form

:)

I have created form, query and report. In the form I have a Combo Box which pulls the search criteria (SaleStatus) from one of my tables. When I select a status and click on the search button it should run the query and then preview the report. The form is an unbound form with the row source type set to table/query. The row source is a select statement pulling the data from the table. The Name of the combobox is SaleStatus.

Since no one else knew how to do this I sat here all morning experimenting with this and this is what I came up with... Its an example of how to get a list of items back from a virtual mode list view in .NET 2.0 with multiple selection turned on... since the .NET documentation is EXTREAML vague on how to do this and offers no clue on what the virtual mode events do or how to use them... just thought this might help someone else out...

I have a formview with a few dropdownlists (software version, database version, etc). When a software version is selected, the database version dropdownlist updates itself accordingly. When in edit mode, everything works fine - the selected value in each list defaults to the value from the database record (selectedvalue=bind...). However, in insert mode (insertitem), it is not working. I pass in a value on the query string that I would...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
