Hi.
I cannot change the value of an unbound control (txtSR and txtSS) within
a sub call. I explain ... my sub (SRSS_set) takes the date (type date)
as input, and returns 2 values (type time).
Public Sub SRSS_set(varDate As Variant, _
varSR As Variant, _
varSS As Variant)

I am trying to resolve a problem I'm experiencing in Access 2000.
I have an unbound control which is set be code on the open event of a
form. However when I try to subsequently run some code which references
the value in the unbound control, the code cannot see the value set. If
however I manually type in the value into the unbound control the code
works fine.
I have tried to Refresh and Repaint the form, but this does not solve

I have a form, bound to a query. Its RecordSource property
is a query named frmEnterLienAmounts. The form has a few
bound controls and some unbound controls. The unbound
controls are calculated fields whose DefaultValue property
is set to something like
DLookUp("","tblVehicleJobs","=Forms!frmEnterLienAmounts!VehicleJobID")
The form (frmEnterLienAmounts) has, as one of its bound
fields . As I scroll through the records, one-

I've written this expression for a DLookup function. It works almost
alright.
What I'm trying to do is type in a description and the ID field (number)
populates automatically.
It works almost as I've said. It doesn't populate until I go to a new
record. Then if I go back to the record the number is in the field.
Instead of populating immediately it waits until I've created a new record.
Am I making sense with this description.
Here's...

I am trying to use the Dlookup expression in a macro to pull the value from the "Price" field in the following query. The query works fine and the Dlookup function did as well until I added a new field to the "Contracts" table called "ContractYear".
SELECT Contracts.ID, Contracts.Commodity, Contracts.Date, Contracts.ContractYear, Contracts.Option, Contracts., Contracts.Bushels, Contracts.Price, Contracts.
FROM Customer INNER JOIN Contracts...

I don't know why I am having an issue with this, especially when I helped someone the other day.
Four fields in the table tblFTPLOGIN:
txtServerList
txtFolder
txtUID
txtPWD
The unbound form has a combo box called txtServerChoice, listing txtServerList from the table. I want to post txtFolder from the table to an unbound box txt on form frmForm.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
