SELECT Query Looking for Date Fields That Contain No Date (blank)

I'm trying to do a SELECT statement looking for a DATE_COMPLETED field which
is blank, meaning it has not been completed. The DATE_COMPLETED field is a
DATE type field. How do I specify my WHERE conditiion to restrict the
results to only those records which have no DATE_COMPLETED data in them?

Thanks in advance,

Rick

Hello, I am having many problems with setting up a parameter query that searches by the criteria entered or returns all records if nothing is entered. I have designed an unbound form with 3 fields on it: Date (DateSpan1 and DateSpan2), Originator, and GroupName. I have added a button that triggers a query and uses those fields as its parameter criteria to populate a form. The user must be allowed to either enter all of the

I have a query, which gathers up information, which is subsequently dumped into an instance of Excel using recordsetcopy. For one of the query fields, I have written what should be a pretty simple little function with three arguments, a switch (integer) and 2 date fields. For certain values of the switch, I use one date field, for others, the other date field, and for switch values which are neither, I need to return a blank. Well,...

Hey , I have built a query which takes values from unbounded fields on a form, and it all works except for one thing. I have a few fields in my query that are dates. I also have a start and end date and time on my form. So, a user will specify the start and end date, and also, the user has the option of checking which of the time fields from the query will have these dates as criteria. So, one of the date fields in my query is...

I have a DataTable.Select() statement with a DateTime field that is being compared to a Date: Dim drCal as DataRow() = tblCal.Select("CalendarItemDate ='12/1/2003'", "CalendarItemDate", DataViewRowState.CurrentRows) This never returns any rows because all the CalendarItemDate fields that contain the date 12/1/2003 also contain a time component! I searched until I was SICK and could not find how to truncate the time from the DateTime...

Hi, I need to handle blank values in a query calculation. I have 636 records at the moment but when I sum over these records the blank fields are not returned. I have looked around here and on Access help and the Nz function seems to be the way forward. I am summing over 6 fields, all or none of which may contain values. The expression syntax I have used is as follows:

Good day all, I am working on a multi-select list box for a standard question checklist database and I am running into a syntax error in the code that I cannot seem to correct. I will also note that I am using Allen Browne's multi-select list box for a report as a guide. I should also note that my access skills are not the best so I may need some explaining on certain things. First let me give some background on the database: I have a...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
