adding a person to a form that uses linked tables

Ok, this has totally stumped me. I have an MS Access form that is
linked to a table. No ODBC calls are needed; the tables are stored in
a server that users have full access to. We have a new employee now,
and we have given the employee:
1) the same version of Access Runtime that every other user has
2) SYSTEM.MDW (I know, bad, but it's what we're using....this isn't the
issue), and the employee is added to the workgroup as User and Admin
3) WRKGADM.EXE, and the employee has joined the workgroup
4) The form, on their C drive, same as every other employee
So, for all purposes, this new employee now has exactly the same setup
that everyone else does.

And, as I'm sure you've assumed by now...it doesn't work.
"The system has encountered a Runtime exception and will be shut down."

Some tests we've done:
a) Used other user accounts on the new employee's box - FAILED
b) Used the employee's user name on another, working box - SUCCESS
c) Reinstalled runtime, the form, tried again - FAILED
d) Granted individual account permissions to all parts of the form and
all parts of the linked tables - FAILED

The runtime version is 4.0.8618.0. Again, there are a dozen other
employees all using this same setup, except theirs works. Is there
something I could be missing? Help.

Quite possibly, the Access / Office installation on this user's computer was
flawed but the problem not detected. Uninstall, go to Microsoft and find the
free download that will try to clean out the last vestiges of an
Access/Office installation and run it, then reinstall Access on that
machine, very carefully.

I'm sorry, I must not be too good at getting around the microsoft web
site, but I can't find the tool. Do you know the URL to it? I only
want to uninstall the Access runtime, not any other part of office.

Well, since I've gotten no more help on this.......

The problem is still there. I've reinstalled the runtime - the same
runtime version everyone else is using. Her runtime is fine, because
if I remove her from any workgroups, her forms open fine. Is there
some permissions thing I might be missing, or something in particular
with adding her to the workgroup?

How do I create a data input form in Access that is external to the Access database to which it's connected (if that's possible, which I believe it is)? I'm wondering if adding an autonumber primary key will improve the performance of a multiuser access database on a network share.
