Hi there,
Are there Excel charting gurus here?? If so then please read on...
Sorry for the cross-post but I'm not familiar with the Excel groups. I've
posted to asp.general because if I have to code a solution to this it'll
probably be done in ASP on a web server, unless there's a significantly
better way.
I'm looking for a way to create over 100 Excel *charts* programmatically.

Hi,
I produce a 30 page report that has data and two charts per page, using
Access 2000. My boss wants the report in WORD format. When I use the
"office links" to "Publish it in Word" I get all the text but not the
charts. Any Ideas??

I'm working with an Access 2000 report that displays a number of bar
charts. The charts tend to have 1 to 5 bars on them, but occasionally
there is a chart with about 20 bars. Because of these variations, using
a consistent gap width for all the charts doesn't yield the most
attractive results. Here's how I have attempted to get around this...
Private Sub <hdr>_Format(Cancel as Integer, FormatCount as Integer)
With <graph>.Object

I have posted this problem a couple of times over the last few years
but have been unable to find a solution that works. Sometimes charts
in reports will display showing the design data instead of the actual
query data the first time they are opened. If the report is closed and
reopened the correct data is shown. This seems to be a nasty Access
bug that has carried across the last few versions at least.
One post that I saw on the...

I posted this question yesterday, and nothing but silence.
I looked through cdma in Google, and it seems whenever someone posts
questions about scatter charts, they get ignored.
So, hopefully, this time, someone will have some brilliant response to
share.
Starting with the Chart Wizard, I can't get the Access scatter chart to
place the data points correctly, ie at the intersection of their XY

Hello,
I'm trying to use Crystal Reports in my application but I'm not sure if
it's possible in Crystal to do what I need. My app generates an array
of reports:
Report rep_array;
class Report

int useless;

How to generate 10 charts for each location on single click? Dynamically the report parameter location has to be passed and dynamically different charts has to be generated on a single report so that i can export all these charts to pdf.

I have a report from a survey that I am adding a bar graph to. I have thi info sorted by location. I have the average of each question, 1-16, in the chart. There are 13 locations, so I end up with 13 charts, since I put the chart in the etail section of the form. Along with the information for each location, I would like to add in the corporate total average in the same graph. I understand how to do this in excel, but am new to charts in access....

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
