I'm trying to provide my users with a choice to have a page break after
the report header of a report. A dialog form, which opens with acDialog
in the on open event of the report, has the following line:
If Me.chkForwardBr eak = -1 Then
Reports(strRepo rt).ReportHeade r.ForceNewPage = 2
The report is saved without the forcenewpage property set, so it's only
whe the user indicates chkForwardBreak as -1 that this fires. Stepping
through the code confirms that the second part of the if, above, is run
by VBA.
All other sorts of things I do on the dialog form, such as setting the
controlsource for the text box(es) that comprise various section of the
report work, but this does not seem to do so.
Is there something stupid I'm missing, or is it that the forcenewpage
property cannot be set at report run time?
TIA for any comments.
