Hi,
is there an efficient (pythonic) way in which I could split a list into
say 5 groups? By split I mean the the first x members would be one group,
the next x members another group and so on 5 times. (Obviously x =
lengthof list/5)
I have done this by a simple for loop and using indexes into the list.
But it does'nt seemm very elegant

I scoured the groups for some hands on code to perform the menial task
of exporting table data from an Access 2000 database to Oracle
database (in this case, it was oracle 8i but i'm assuming this will
work for 9i and even 10g )
No one had what I needed, so I wrote it myself.

This code isn't going for efficiency, and isn't trying...

Step 2. drand.h and drand.c
Step 3. nrand.h and nrand.c
Main.c then only contains some test code.

I have learned a great deal creating applications in Access 2002 with Visual
Basic code.
What is the next step to create applications that can be used as a more
stand-alone app or possibly with a web front end?
There seems to be many choices from Visual Basic Studio and .net framework.
Eventually, I would want to be able to create a CD for...

Hi, I am using access 2003, I would like to know if there is an option
to reorganize the tables in a maner that is readable, as we can do in
sql sever 2000 or 2005.
I have been given a database to look a and I am loosing tremendious
amounts of time trying to organize it so that I could view it.

Hi
Can someone please point in the right direction.
I have an XML file that gets updated every 4 hours on a web server.
I can check the XML modification time in ASP and compare to the
databse.
If it is newer, I need some ASP code to then import the XML into
Access.
Been trawling the net for an answer for a while - no joy
thanks

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...
