Appending records to a table from a form filtered recordsource

I haven't been able to put it together yet.

I wanted to use a CreateQueryDef based on the recordsetclone property.

However the form is filtered and some fields are calculated Only a few
fields are appended.

Any example of code?

TIA

Just a note to clarify. I would like to avoid the Addnew method
because of the numerous calculated fields and the filter on my form.
Instead I would prefer to create a select query that will be used used
to append data.

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me out. I have a database with a form. This form has no recordsource (I'm using it as a complex MsgBox). It has a single textbox of type Date. It also has three unrelated subform that are filtered according to the date entered in the form's text box. By using after update events, I've been able to allow users to change the date in the textbox and alter records from the day throughout three other tables. ...

Hello all... I'm having an issue with MSAccess 2000. I have a Form that holds records of my cartridge loads for a rifle and a subform that lists all groups that have been fired with that load. They are linked by the load_id field and when I just browse through the loads everything shows up correctly. Each recorded group is displayed on a line of the datasheet subform. However, when I filter the form for say my "Selected" flag...

Hello, Say that there is a database for client information; there is a main form that displays the client's name, and this form has one or more subforms that display different types of information related to that client. The main Form has RecordSource="SELECT clientid, clientname FROM client_table;", and each subform has both Link Child and Master Fields="clientid".

On my form I have combo boxes. These combo boxes, after updating them, populate respective listboxes that are located below the combo boxes on the same form. I am trying to use a "generate report" button located on my form to print all of the list box values (that have been updated via selection from combo boxes) from the form to the report. I've tried using a macro with the code: Macro Name: cmdGenerateReport : On Click Action:...

Hi everyone, I am trying to open the form "Languages" with a diffrent record source to the "Contacts" form where I conducted the search or filter... . I was wondering whether there was a vba code to select ONLY ALL FILTERED records of my first form or the "Contacts" and open this filtered set of records in my "Languages" form. I have a key field on both tables named id_individual.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
