I'm a little nervous about slamming my database with a dozen Update queries
in a loop that all modify RecordSources of open forms. Will the use of
DoEvents and/or a Sleep function ameliorate any risk involved in doing this?
Should I include a Requery in the loop after executing each query?
For example:

I need to requery a subform from a third form and can't seem to get it to
work.
frmForm1 has frmAddress as a subform. The button cmdReviseAddress opens the
form frmUpdateAddress where all of my validation work is done and the new

Using combo boxes, the user can select several search criteria on
frmProjects and then click a command button. The command button passes
the criteria as a string to a query. A subform, which is based on this
query, shows the results of the search.

press F9 and it will update the data in the subform, but I have tried
various combinations of Me!SubformName.requery
Me!Forms!Subformname.requery, etc. to put the F9 functionality into VBA
